Absa Bank Ghana is expanding access to personal loans with its Instant Loans solution, allowing eligible salaried customers to borrow up to GH¢350,000 through the Bank’s digital banking platforms.

The solution makes borrowing more accessible by enabling eligible customers to receive pre-approved personal loan offers and access funds instantly through a fully digital process.

Customers can check for available offers through the Absa Mobile App, Internet Banking, or an Absa ATM and complete the process without collateral, a guarantor, or a lengthy loan application.

Director of Personal and Private Banking at Absa Bank Ghana, Charles Addo, said the solution forms part of the Bank’s efforts to make banking services more responsive to customers’ needs and expectations.

“We are seeing increasing demand for banking solutions that fit seamlessly into customers’ daily lives. Instant Loans lets eligible salaried customers access credit quickly through channels they already use, while ensuring lending decisions remain guided by robust risk and affordability assessments.

"This is part of our broader commitment to making banking more accessible, responsive and digitally enabled.”

Through automated credit assessment, eligible customers receive tailored, pre-approved personal loan offers and, once they accept an offer, access the funds immediately.

The solution is intended to support customers who require timely access to personal credit while maintaining the risk management standards that underpin the Bank’s lending activities.

Absa Instant Loans forms part of the Bank’s broader digital banking offering, through which it continues to invest in solutions that improve convenience, accessibility and flexibility for customers managing their financial needs.
