Telangana Tourism has showcased the State’s heritage, culture, spiritual destinations and natural attractions at the World Travel Market (WTM) London 2026, as part of efforts to attract international tourists and tourism investments.

Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat inaugurated the Telangana Tourism Pavilion at the three-day international tourism exhibition, being held at ExCeL London in the United Kingdom from November 3 to 5.

Among the prominent destinations being highlighted are the Ramappa Temple, Warangal Fort, Thousand Pillar Temple, Golconda Fort, Charminar, Nagarjunasagar, Buddhavanam, Ananthagiri Hills, Laknavaram Lake, Bogatha Waterfalls and the Kaleshwaram region.

The pavilion also positions Hyderabad as an international destination for heritage tourism, gastronomy, shopping, entertainment, medical tourism and Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE).

“The Telangana delegation is using the three-day event to hold business-to-business meetings, destination presentations and networking sessions with international tour operators, travel agents, destination management companies, airlines, hospitality groups and potential investors. The engagements are aimed at attracting international visitors, exploring tourism investment opportunities and establishing strategic partnerships, particularly in the United Kingdom and European markets,” said an official.

They added that the State is also seeking to promote lesser-known destinations, develop customised tourism circuits and explore international collaborations in heritage, cultural, spiritual, nature-based and experiential tourism.
