Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao asked whether Union Home Minister Amit Shah will only level allegations of ‘RR Tax’ or has any plan to take against Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy since the allegations are regularly made.

In a post on social media platforms, KTR questioned the Bharatiiya Janata Party (BJP) leadership at the Centre over its failure to act on allegations and claimed it reflected the Congress and BJP of having an understanding that protects each other.

He alleged that ₹200 was being collected per square foot in the name of ‘RR tax’ and said the practice was widely known in the real estate sector. Let the statements not be limited to rhetoric but take concrete action against the alleged collections, he said.

Taking a dig at the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, KTR said, “Bada bhai Modi will never take action against his ABVP chhota bhai Revanth.” An understanding between the BJP and Congress was behind the Centre’s inaction, he claimed.
