I should have ignored noise in Big Brother house – Sheba

Big Brother Naija Season 11 second runner-up, Faith Gamde, popularly known as Sheba, has said she wished she had ignored some of the conflicts she encountered during her time on the reality show.

Speaking in an interview with Sunday Scoop, the reality TV star said some disagreements could have been avoided if she had paid less attention to distractions.

She said, “I have no regrets. Regrets? Let me dig deep. To be honest, it would be that I should have ignored some of the noise. Looking back, certain conflicts were generally rage bait. They happened in the heat of the moment. This environment can generally be controlled. It can make people say things they don’t mean and act in ways they don’t want to. I should have ignored a lot more than I did. I know I ignored a lot, but I wish I had ignored even more. It’s still an experience.”

Sheba maintained that she would not describe any part of her experience as a mistake, although she acknowledged that she learnt some lessons from her time on the reality show.

“I will not call anything that has happened a mistake. If you are asking me what lessons I have learnt, maybe a few. I don’t think there was a mistake. I have learnt to trust in myself more because there were times I doubted, ‘With all these strong people, am I sure?’ And, to be honest, I think it affected me sometimes. Another lesson Big Brother instilled in me is that just because you have a moment when you feel down doesn’t mean you are weak. You are still who you are, and you will be fine,” she said.
