Radiance 2026: NsromaMusic delivers a memorable night of worship

Organised by NsromaMusic, the event was an unforgettable experience that stirred hearts, celebrated musical excellence, and left many of us counting down to next year. If you ask me for the highest point of the night, I will answer without hesitation: that Ga song featuring Perez Music!

Some events entertain you. Some impress you. Others leave you asking questions, humming songs you barely knew, and wondering when the next edition will happen.

Organised by NsromaMusic, the event was an unforgettable experience that stirred hearts, celebrated musical excellence, and left many of us counting down to next year. Honestly, I am still trying to find the right words to describe what happened. And trust me, that is saying something!

The production was speaking before the music did

From the moment I walked into the auditorium, it was clear that serious thought, creativity and hard work had gone into putting Radiance together.

The lighting was excellent. The sound was on point. The stage design, auditorium arrangement, ushering and protocol all contributed to an atmosphere that felt intentional, polished and worthy of the occasion.

Nothing about the experience suggested that the organisers had simply gathered a few musicians, hired a sound system and hoped for the best. There was a vision, and the execution reflected it.

One moment that particularly caught my attention was the cinematic audio introduction of NsromaMusic. The creative presentation explained the meaning of Radiance and connected it beautifully to NsromaMusic’s identity and musical journey.

It was more than an introduction. It was storytelling, branding and artistic identity rolled into one brilliant moment.

Whoever conceived that idea deserves serious applause. That was how you introduce an artiste, not simply announce a name and wait for the crowd to scream!

And then came the moment we had all been waiting for.

NsromaMusic stepped on to the stage, and the atmosphere changed.

From the first song, her passion, confidence and spiritual intensity were unmistakable. The initial ministers laid a beautiful foundation, but what followed took the experience to another level.

This was not the kind of performance you politely applaud while checking your phone under the cover of darkness. No! This was the kind that demanded your attention, engaged your spirit and made sitting still feel like an unnecessary suggestion.

It was more than music. It was an encounter!

What impressed me just as much was the quality of NsromaMusic’s catalogue. At several points, I caught myself wondering how songs of such quality could exist while so many people were only just discovering the artiste.

The songwriting was impressive. The melodies were memorable. The arrangements were thoughtful, and her delivery carried both conviction and energy.

The band also deserves enormous credit. Those musicians did not come to play around. They came prepared, and they delivered!

Akesse Brempong, Perez Music and the surprises we did not see coming

Every memorable concert needs moments that catch you off guard in the best possible way. Radiance had its fair share.

The reggae ministration featuring Akesse Brempong was one of my personal highlights. The chemistry, rhythm and energy made the collaboration a delight to watch. It was one of those performances that reminded you that gospel music has room for variety, creativity and infectious grooves without losing its spiritual essence.

Then Perez Music made a surprise appearance.

Just when you thought the evening had already delivered enough, another musical treat arrived. His appearance alongside NsromaMusic added another layer of excitement to an already impressive night.

But let us talk about the real business!

That Ga song! Somebody, please release it!

If you ask me for the highest point of the night, I will answer without hesitation: that Ga song featuring Perez Music!

I do not speak Ga. I suspect I was not the only person in the auditorium who could not translate every lyric. Yet, somehow, we were all singing along!

The melody was infectious, the rhythm was irresistible, and the connection between the two artistes was beautiful. The language barrier stood no chance against the power of a good song.

You did not need to understand every word to feel every emotion. The music did the translating.

And that is the magic of great songwriting. It makes strangers participate in something they may not fully understand but instinctively enjoy.

That song has been living rent-free in my head ever since. I want it released, promoted, distributed and given the opportunity to find its audience. If the live performance is anything to go by, NsromaMusic and Perez Music may have something very special on their hands.

Dear team, please do not let us suffer unnecessarily. Release the song!

The attendance was another impressive feature of the evening.

Considering the distance from central Accra, ongoing road construction that made access to the church challenging, and the fact that Pastor Isaiah had a major programme on the same day, the turnout was remarkable.

Both the upper and lower sections of the auditorium were filled with people who came ready to participate.

Yes, access was difficult. Yes, the programme started later than scheduled and eventually extended to around 9 pm. Those challenges were real, and future editions could benefit from better traffic guidance, clearer access information and tighter time management.

Nevertheless, the audience showed up, remained engaged, worshipped, celebrated and left with memories worth discussing.

That level of commitment says something about the appeal of the event and the experience it offered.

When excellence meets the presence of God

Perhaps what I appreciated most about Radiance 2026 was that it did not feel like another concert where technical perfection and recording the songs were the only priorities.

The production was excellent, but it did not overshadow the purpose. The music was beautiful, but it was not merely a showcase of vocal ability. There was a genuine spiritual atmosphere that gave the evening its deeper meaning.

Radiance brought musical excellence and heartfelt worship into the same room without making either feel secondary.

After the event, I heard several attendees express their excitement about hearing the songs again when they are officially released. I completely understand.

When a song connects with you in a moment like that, you want to relive it. You want it on your playlist, in your car, during your quiet moments, and perhaps on repeat until everyone around you starts singing along too.

That is the opportunity before NsromaMusic now: to turn the magic of the live experience into lasting musical connections.

NsromaMusic, there is something special here

Radiance 2026 reminded me that NsromaMusic has something worth paying attention to.

She has a strong stage presence, a compelling catalogue, the ability to connect with an audience, and a musical identity that deserves wider recognition.

The next step is to ensure that the excellence witnessed in the auditorium reaches people who were not fortunate enough to attend. Strategic releases, consistent promotion, strong digital distribution and continued audience engagement can help transform the excitement surrounding Radiance into sustained growth.

To NsromaMusic and the entire team, congratulations! The vision was beautiful, the execution was impressive, and the experience was unforgettable.

May God continue to strengthen the team, expand NsromaMusic’s reach, and take the music to greater heights.

As for me, I am already looking forward to the next edition.

La Roux: Old Flames review – a breezy, hook-packed twist on a breakup album

(Vertigo) Devastating moments are dressed up with warm production and kinetic 00s R&B in the now quiff-less singer’s grownup fourth album Over the six years that La Roux, AKA Elly Jackson, was making her fourth album, the singer ended a 17-year relationship, confronted her weed dependency, received autism and ADHD diagnoses and lopped off her signature Johnny Bravo-esque quiff. “Feels like you’re slipping right out of my life,” she admits on To Make Our Love, though the song bounces along like Ace of Base’s All That She Wants, while Night Vision, despite its crushing lyrics – “you keep…
