Tacha hailed as she launches beauty brand in Lagos

The launch held last weekend, at Grace Gardens Event Centre, Lekki ,attracted celebrities, beauty enthusiasts and fans. The event also featured the graduation of students from the Tacha Beauty Academy. Speaking at the event, Tacha said the brand, which has been in development for two years, was created to promote confidence and self-expression, especially for African women.

It represents the courage to commit to an idea and put in the work to make it real. I want people to enjoy expressing themselves and feel confident in their own beauty,” she said. Celebrities who graced the occasion include music executive Don Jazzy, actress Chioma Omerua popularly known as Chigul, former BBNaija housemate Anita Ukah, Pastor Amaka Flourish-Peters and entrepreneur Lady Ada Enemuoh.

They described the reality TV star as a bold, dogged and resilient personality, commending her for turning her fame into a thriving business beyond reality TV. Tacha Beauty is focused on cosmetics tailored for African skin tones and also aimed at creating opportunities for people to learn and build businesses in the beauty industry.
