The two-day annual technical festival, Technozion ’26, of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal concluded on Saturday (October 31, 2026), with a series of events showcasing innovations in robotics, drone technology, electronics, sustainability and creative arts.

The second day featured several competitions and interactive activities organised by student clubs and societies, providing participants with opportunities to demonstrate their technical knowledge, creativity and problem-solving skills.

Among the major attractions was Mach Sprint, a drone racing competition in which participants navigated customised drones through an indoor obstacle course. AI Gambit showcased a robotic arm capable of playing chess and assembling blocks, while Robo Cannonade challenged students to develop functional ball-launching models.

Other events included Space Wars, an interactive gaming competition using sensor-based controls; Smash Karts, featuring robotic kart racing; and Jahaaz, in which participants navigated remote-controlled boats through aquatic obstacles.

The Sustainability Club organised Eco City, challenging participants to design self-sustaining cities by balancing infrastructure development and environmental protection. Shadow Theatre encouraged creative storytelling through shadow-puppet performances.

The festival concluded with a DJ night at the NIT Warangal auditorium, bringing students together for an evening of music and entertainment.
